Blackpools other famous attraction is Blackpool Tower. reaching over 500ft, it invites people to stand on a glass panel with nothing below them but air. Its a terrifying experience. Each year from August to November the Illuminations are switched on at night. 7 miles of Blackpool Promenade are adorned in millions of coloured light bulbs and displays.
