Download KeyConfig for UltraHLE (129k)

The Nintendo 64, Nintendo's latest console system, contains several very powerful processors which was a huge problem to emulator authors trying to recreate them on the PC. The amount of processor power needed to emulate the Nintendo 64 would be huge, making even the most powerful PC struggle to keep up.

The makers of UltraHLE, the only working Nintendo 64 emulator, used a system that finds commonly used groups of intructions and executes them in a small tightly written piece of C code. The emulator was taken offline only hours after it's initial release, and Nintendo is threatening legal action against the authors. The first release, version 1.0, is exceptionally stable and runs many games perfectly on P2/300s and above. As this is the first release, several of the options are not implemented, or don't work how they should.

One of these is the controller configuration dialog. There is no way to change from the default keys. KeyConfig for UltraHLE is a handy utility to change the controls. It patches your copy of UltraHLE to use the new keys, and backs up the original copy. You can tell which keys are currenly set using the controller configuration screen in UltraHLE, or by using KeyConfig.

The program is easy, quick to use, and small. So what are you waiting for? Download it now!
